The International Accord for Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry is a legally binding agreement between global trade unions and over 100 clothing companies. The agreement continues the work of the 2013 and 2018 Accords on Fire & Building Safety in Bangladesh and will further establish worker safety programs in at least one other country. The International Accord Foundation, based in the Netherlands, will implement the agreement.

The Head of Signatory Engagement is responsible for supporting company, trade union and witness signatories to implement the International Accord terms effectively, and for ensuring clear and relevant communication with all signatories.
The International Program Officer is responsible for coordinating feasibility studies for expansion and supporting the establishment of the Accord health and safety programs in one of more countries producing textile and garments for Accord company signatories.
The Communications Officer is responsible for implementing the International Accord’s internal and external communications strategy. The key objectives of this role are to develop and disseminate high quality communication materials to external stakeholders and International Accord signatories.
The Program Officer for Accountability is responsible for tracking and supporting the implementation of key Accord provisions, thereby underpinning the Accord’s accountability mechanisms. The Program Officer for Accountability will work closely with the Head of Policy & Accountability to run procedures which ensure accountability for signatories’ obligations.
The Remediation Data Analyst is responsible for processing and analysing remediation data across the Accord for internal accountability purposes as well as public reporting purposes. The Remediation Data Analyst will also support specific data related projects to advance the implementation of Accord provisions.
The Office Assistant is responsible for the regular administrative functions of the International Accord Foundation in Amsterdam. The Office Assistant will coordinate day-to-day office administration and be responsible for issuing invoices and tracking payment of signatories’ fees.
