The International Accord for Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry is a legally binding agreement between global trade unions and over 150 clothing companies. The agreement continues the work of the 2013 and 2018 Accords on Fire & Building Safety in Bangladesh and will further establish worker safety programs in at least one other country. The International Accord Foundation, based in the Netherlands, will implement the agreement.

The Communications Officer is responsible for implementing the International Accord’s internal and external communications strategy. The key objectives of this role are to develop and disseminate high quality communication materials to external stakeholders and International Accord signatories.
