Progress at Covered Factories in Bangladesh

Factory Participation under the Bangladesh Safety Agreement

All factories listed by signatories to the Bangladesh Safety Agreement participate in the inspections and remediation, safety training, and Complaints Mechanism implemented by the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC). This page provides an overview of the progress factories are making across these programs.

Remediation Progress Reports

The Remediation Progress Reports present current progress at factories inspected by the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC) and covered under the Bangladesh Safety Agreement (BSA). The reports showcase overall remediation progress as well as progress on specific fire, electrical, structural, and boiler safety items with high life-saving value.

Starting in January 2026, these reports are produced quarterly by the RSC, following a decision by the Accord Steering Committee to revise the methodology for calculating factory remediation progress rates and to provide a breakdown of progress on specific, high-impact safety findings.
