Safety Committee Training

Joint labour-management Safety Committees receive extensive safety training to build their capacity to fulfil their role of keeping the factory workplace safe & healthy.

All Employee Meetings

All employees of the factory participate in information meetings to raise awareness of safety & health.

Complaints Mechanism

All workers at Accord-covered factories have access to a confidential Complaints Mechanism with which they can raise safety & health concerns.

Safety Committee Training

The Safety Committee training curriculum includes 8 sessions from hazard identification, resolving safety concerns, and safety monitoring systems. A dedicated trainer provides ongoing support for each trained Safety Committee.

All Employee Meetings

All employees on site participate in 3 meetings to discuss the Safety Committee’s role, addressing common safety hazards, safe evacuation in case of fire, and how to raise safety concerns with confidence.

Complaints Mechanism

All workers in Accord-covered factories may access the independent, confidential Complaints Mechanism to raise safety concerns with trained complaints handlers who will assess the complaint and, where necessary, ensure appropriate remedy.
